If you've visited our website recently, you may have noticed something new
Adult Foster Care of the North Shore is now Adult Family Care of the North Shore.
While our name has changed, the compassionate care, dedicated team, and commitment to supporting caregivers and families remain exactly the same.
Why the Change?
Over the years, we've had the privilege of serving countless families throughout our community. As our program has grown, we felt it was time for our name to better reflect who we are and the people we serve.
Our new name, Adult Family Care of the North Shore (AFCNS), more clearly represents our mission of supporting individuals who choose to receive care at home from family members and loved ones.
It's a small change in name, but it better reflects the heart of what we do every day.
What Isn't Changing at Adult Family Care
Although you'll begin seeing our new name across our website, emails, and communications, everything you know and trust about our organization remains the same.
That includes:

The same services and caregiver support
The same office location and contact information
The same hours of operation
The same commitment to helping families navigate the Adult Family Care program
If you're already enrolled in our program or considering becoming a caregiver, you can continue working with us just as you always have.
Our Caregiver Resources Are Staying the Same
Many caregivers rely on our website for forms, resources, and important information. During this transition, all of our caregiver links, forms, and resources will continue to work just as they always have. You don't need to update any bookmarks or worry if you still see references to our previous name in certain places.

Changing an organization's name doesn't happen overnight. Over the coming weeks, you'll begin seeing Adult Family Care of the North Shore appear throughout our website, printed materials, emails, and online listings. Some pages or documents may still reference Adult Foster Care of the North Shore while we complete these updates.
